MOM!

Ever since I can remember I have always been very close with my Mother. I give her a lot of credit because my mom has always been a very hard working person and had to put up with me growing up. You see I wasn’t the most well behaved kid growing up. But my mom taught me manners, politeness and how to be a gentleman mostly by whooping the crap out of me when I got out of line! (It’s ok mom I know I deserved it most of the time!) My mom has always been very supportive and she is also a very loving Grandma. She does everything she can to try and give my sister and Phil a break at times by watching my nieces. She has been through some very hard times in her life. The most profound of these was having cancer not only once but two times. This was a really scary time for all of us since we had lost my Grandma (miss you Nanny!) to cancer. Luckily my mom fought tooth and nail and beat cancer! Another thing my mom has done recently which made me proud was basically pack up her house all by herself, jump in the car, and move to South Carolina to be closer to my sis and the fam. I thought that this was one of the most courageous things she has ever done in her life. My mom has been a HUGE inspiration to me and I am thankful everyday to be so lucky to have her as my mother! THANKS MOM I LOVE YOU!

My Family!

This picture doesn't really do them justice at all!! The one thing I miss most since moving to Colorado in 1996 is my family. My sister Shannon and my brother-in-law Phil have been happily married for many many years. Also, they have 5 kids the oldest being my nephew Phillip who is 17 years old. My nieces from left to right are Ashley, Hannah, Karah, and Lauren. I love these guys so much and being an uncle has been a blessing for sure! My family is absolutely hilarious to be around and is always happy and in the best spirits. I can't wait to visit them in South Carolina where they just moved just over a year ago.

Up next--The person who is responsible for my existence - MY MOM!!

Jacob and Tisha in deep conversation

Jacob invited myself and V to have dinner at Old Chicago with his friend Tisha who he met while in college for animation and design. It was really nice to meet her and it really made me realize how great it is to hang out with such artistic, funny and talented people. Tish rides around in a motorized wheelchair because she went into a coma and actually died for a little while. Having dinner with Tish was awesome. It's really hard to understand her when she talks but she has a notepad to write down stuff on. Tish has her own business where she does design for people. I hope that we can meet up with her soon for dinner again because she kicks ass.

KOKO!

This was my Halloween costume. Funny thing is I dressed up like this the weekend BEFORE Halloween and went out to a couple places. It was pretty awesome to see people's reactions when they saw me. Priceless!!
